well whilst searching on ebay for some parts i came acrros a complete ish crawler, so i bought it and picked it up this evening. the plan is........... well to get it ready for dorset this year. the chances of it happening are slim but i have the other one to fall back on (providing i dont pinch too many donor parts from it). But i ill try my hardest to get it all done. Ive ot all the parts i need for it so it really is just a case of a rub down an repaint and put it back together.

both tracks are good, so hopefully no more bolt changing in the middle of rally felids.
the restoration is going very well, most bits are rubed down and in primer and the body is almost painted.
ive just come in from the shed now and my big end is fully bodged and working again, so thats the engine done.
im just having a few probs removing my old brake bands as the pins have rusted solid but when thats overcome its going to be all plain sailing.......i hope

Wayne,
not to spoil it fot you, but there was a crawler in the stalls at Welland for sale, and it looked more like the one in your sig, rather than the one in ya posted picture

its nearly done now, wheels are on and the tracks are being fitted up tomoroow. its just the engine to drop in fit the bumper and then onto the task of the brake bands but nothing a bit of heat shouyldnt sort out.
hopefully within a week i will be driving it around the yard.

well its all now finished and done with a week to spare, itrs now looking like the sig picture rather than the original pic.
